Anna Andersen

Anna Andersen is a Washington, DC-based independent analyst working on the accountability, effectiveness, and impact of policy and emerging tech in the public and private sectors.

She holds an M.A. in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS, with a focus on emerging technology and international relations, and a certificate in AI Safety Fundamentals and Governance from BlueDot Impact. Current research examines technical and contractual dependency in AI surveillance deployments across multiple partner-country contexts. She has over a decade of experience spanning federal technology transfer, international government partnerships, and adjacent technology innovation programs.
